Lightning on the way to work

i personally know frank in the list on the nloc he is number 4 with a 9.5 or something like that.now im not saying that his truck cant be drivin on the street but its not a street truck.my air blows cold and you can watch dvds in my cd player.my buddies truck with a 75 shot of nitrous run 11.90 with the 6# but doin in on the street is something all together different.oh and frank im chris joeys buddy that had the 8 sec turbo vega just incase you read this haha.oh and his is turbocharged how many fast lightnings still run the eaton thats another 3 grand on top of the price.we can do this all night long baby.
Also again your talking about replacing the eaton, of course they are replacing the eaton and of course it costs money. Again if you want to bring up all the money spent to how fast you can go, we wouldn't be making trucks fast we would all be in cheap light weight cars. But we aren't doing that so talking about price really doesn't make since to me.

no no i dont have 15 grand for modding.and my truck is not turbocharged im just saying that with the right dude doin it the chevy can do the same for less and if its so easy why dont all lightnings run 9s?

9 seconds isnt easy in anything first off... especially not a full weight streetable pickup truck. ask those guys how much they have work/time/money into there trucks.
clearly you think you can dump $2k into a lighting and be running 9s so im not even gonna take this argument any further cause all we are doing is whoring this thread up

Can you do it at the track when traction is had?
No traction for one guy vs dead hooking for the other is a test to the setup but at the same time to say o i beat a guy bad because he coudn't hook...well you didn't beat a damn thing you hooked lol.
Both get traction your woned and you know it. Thats why you won't run the guy at a track more than likely because you know better.
Also the newest setup that makes 9's easy as hell hasn't been out long.

Hey man, if you don't want to give credit where credit is due that is your thing, not mine. I can say in full confidence that chevy makes some great trucks that can be pretty fast. If you want to rag on Lightnings for being supercharged or costing decent money, then we have nothing more to talk about, they have superchargers and cost a good bit. Now if we can get past that we can move on and realize that they are two completely different types of trucks. Hell if you want to get into the whole I spent less argument, plenty of people have regular everyday F150s that swap in powerplants from Lightnings for cheap and would be just as fast as a Lightning for the same price as many chevy trucks. So whatever, none of this or that means anything. People forget that when you buy an SVT product your getting the whole package, not just speed. All sorts of upgraded parts.

Not all Lightnings run 9s because it does cost money as you seem to be obsessed with. Its become a lot easier with the new 3.4L whipple kit.

That is easy. It's a no guessgame setup.
Show me a setup on a chevy silverado that will run 9's.
Simple as that show me a streetable setup that will run 9's without having to think....Will it run 9's are stay in the 10's forever?
