Got a local buddy with an 04 cobra with the same 3.4L whipple. He is still on pump gas and 21lbs of boost on STOCK bottom end. He makes 660/620. Only reason he isn't turning it up is because he doesn't want to run E85. He drives the car quite a bit also. He said on E85 it will make over 700 easy with more boost.
Last weekend we went out to mexico... Lets just say, wheel hop at 120+ going into 4th gear is SUPER sketchy!

so my friend's got a Maggie on his new Camaro & he's telling me today that some tool in his neighborhood just got hisself a mustang & kept doing WOT pulls in front of his house. well, the other day, Randy's driving out & this 'stang comes out of nowhere & starts following him - falling back then racing up to his bumper over & over...
well, they get up to the interstate on-ramp & he just lets go!! the poor Ford owner just became this little dot in the mirror. since then, he ain't done a daggum thing

John, he's only making 720hp. That's doable.

this **** is hilarious,sounds like a v6 mustang!!!in the last 2 years i've been going to sgmp i've seen 1 stock 2010 camaro ss and it could'nt get outta the 14's!as for the mach 1 a friend has one with an auto that has 4.10's,converter,x-pipe,catback,and a generic canned programmer tune that run's 12.50's at 111.the s/c car in the original post is possibly 11.30-11.60 car.
and you must've missed Camaro5Fest. it was this time last year - over 500 2010 camaros. all the stock ones with decent drivers were in the 13s as well

Oh a little update still havent been able to push him into a race he is crawlfishing on me. So this joker with the Mach 1 that looks pretty good goes and gets him a rediculous looking spoiler off another mustang I think a saleen is what he told me but it has got to be dumbest thing ever. Its probably a foot tall and makes the car look like a tuner.

beware of the sandbagger and the lie about boost. if he does have the 500+ rwhp, than that is a high 10, low 11 car if there is traction. I am not biased, I own a 2001 gmc z71, and an 01 mustang gt convertible. mustangs are light and quick. but hell, go out and play! call his bluff and enjoy it if you hand him his ***. But keep your money in your pocket
