I am very suprized my dad's stock duramax except for a k&n drop in filter beat a new f-150.

I was sittin at a light and im sttin next to a new F-150 the light turns green and he takes off wot i say to my friend guess he's in a hurry. We come up to the next light the light turns green and agian he takes off agian the same and instead of watchin him i take off WOT too.Well we were even for a little bit and when i shifted into 2nd i got a little bit ahead of him and by 60 i was about a fender ahead and we had to let out.

Once agian I was VERY suprized that a stock duramax hung with a lighter gas powered truck.After i beat him he got into the other lane and turned right. i thought it was pretty funny.

What do u have done to your 4.8L?

 

nothin even worth mentioning haha...MTI custom tune,k&n intake,aeroturbine muffler,flowtech cut-out and a transgo shift kit and a vette servo.next thing i get will be a torque converter or cam.

 

oh ok.. thts cool. Everything I have, is in my sig... Is that going to be your next project vehicle, the 00' silvy, bc i see that you have already built that dragster?

 

no the 00' is my daily driver i dont really need a fast truck because my truck will never be able to go 135 in less then 5 seconds haha.So no all i want for my truck is to be quick.
