fun in Jax...
Oh I'm back with two races I had earlier tonight on my way home from seeing 300 in Jax...
1st race- 2006 Miata MX-5/Miata/3 random letters/numbers...
Kid was a tool, and I assume was trying to impress his g/f... Revved at me at a stoplight, I looked over, and saw him give me a thumbs down... I laugh and give a lil wave, meaning I'll give him a head start... Light turns green, he goes, then I go(no brake stalling) and catch him by 20... Run all the way up to 75, and by that time he is 6-7 truck lengths behind... Pull up to the next light, he pulls up, I look over and give him the ol' shoulder shrug and mouthed "what happened?"... He flicked me off, his g/f was laughing, and once the light turned green, he waited for me to get through the intersection before he started going and shortly turned off the road after that.... seeya.gif
2nd race- Bentley Conti GT
Old guy, real cool, just pulled up next to me at a light and started revving like crazy, I look over and he points ahead, so I nod... I realize I'm gonna lose(I've raced 2 other conti's before) but I respect my elders and oblige... Light goes green, we both go (I stalled this time) and he puts a length on me right out of the box... We run to about 80 before we shut down and he put maybe 3 lengths on me... Next light, gives me a thumbs up and says "That's one mean truck"... I in turn compliment his ability to buy $150K cars and we head our seperate ways... laugh.gif
Both were fun, and 300 was an extremely good movie.... popcorn.gif
PS- I thought our trucks were not capable of doing standing burnouts in stock form, but mine can, I did it tonight, on completely dry pavement... dunno.gif I will be making a video tomm of this to show you fellas...

Nice kills! Love the Miata guy flipping you off...Classic!! Probably was his mom's car!! I'm impressed with the Conti GT even racing! Most tools I run into with $$ cars are usually to scared to even race and have their cars for just show. Except for Ferarri owners! Although they usually get spanked by most properly modded cars.
