Default Hemi kill!

Ok so before everyone starts calling bull realize I was as suprised as the guy driving this hemi ram. So me and my fiance are coming home from supper tonight. I am coming up to a red light and I notice a blue crew cab ram with duel exhaust and those infamous "hemi" badges on the fender. I ease up beside him and the light turns green so I roll into the throttle and he guns it. I figure what the hell and put it on the floor, and just blow by him like he was tied to a tree. I run up to about 60 and get out of it since we were in a 45 mph zone. This guy wouldn't even pull up beside me he fell into the turn lane at the next light and got away from my little Z71 as fast (or slow) as that hemi could. My question my Ext Cab 4.8 Z71 is nothing real special CAI, Tune, Catback and a couple of other mods but nothing that I would call extreme. So how did I beat this Hemi? maybe he just had the badges? haha I dont know. This is the first real race since the tune and a few other things other than a new 2wd F150 crew cab lowered with a catback (as far as I know) on the interstate and I blew it out the water also. Should my truck be this fast???? Sorry about the long post I'm just really

He probably let off if he "was tied to a tree" to 60mph. Only way to find out how good your truck runs is to go to the track. There are just to many factors in an unorganized street race to judge how fast your truck is. Anyway, good HEMI kill

I rarely run Hemis' anymore.Anytime I do it's usually on the highway before they notice it's a L,but as soon as it starts they learn the hard way. After my paintjob my truck will be debadged and have a custom paintjob so it will look more like a fake L.

Good kill, if they stay behind me like that I take my foot off the gas and see if they make a turn instead of passing me.

I did get out of it and slowed down to about 40 just to see if he would blow by me (like some fart can ricer) but he didn't, there was a line in the turn lane at the next light and both the strait lanes were clear so instead of getting beside me again, he opted for the turn lane. I couldn't help but laugh! I wanted so bad for him to get beside me again so i could roll the window and say "Hey does that thing have a Hemi in it"
