Guess i have to explain my times and tracks. My best times are at Sealy, Texas, track elevation of 144 ft.

My two local tracks are at 2900 and 3000 ft. Local times depends on weather, HOT-cold. Summer heat i run 9.50s to 9.90s 1/8th. Density Altitude goes from 3000ft to 6000 ft.

Sorry for long posts.

I hear ya, we are at 2300ft here. Best DA I got to run at last year was 3800ft, and I ran a 14.4 in that, which converted to my time in my sig. Just get your weather info and use the calculators to even the playing field some. I'd still like a column in the fastest times list that gives your DA at the time of the run.

I paid $300 for it brand new from my neighbor lol. I also installed it myself, it was really easy with handtools. I think you can find them on e-bay every once and awhile for $450ish!

By what I have seen they seem to be faster by around a second or so in the 1/4 or more depending where you are and how well you are at driving. I am the first to admit I am not the best at driving as I have only been driving for 2 years and 11.5 months but I expect my times will improve as I become a more experienced guy behind the wheel.

are you still going with the rcsb being 300-600 lbs lighter? how does this convert to a full second? every weight to hp ratio ive ever seen equals out at about 200lbs +/- = 1 tenth +/- in the quarter.

I'm just saying what I have seen. Stock quad cabs running 16.1's and stock rc's running high 14's. Maybe it's driver, maybe it's weight but something is doing it.
