Default A few kills from the weekend

Heading home Saturday night from hanging out with some of my friends, I pull up to a red light and there is a Porsche. Not sure what it was. Kinda like a roadster, convertible. well, lights turns green and I take off like I normally do. Then the Porsche got next to me and started to pull so I gave it a little more throttle. We're going about 40 and we both hit it at the same time. I stay with him till about 58 then I let off so it will shift, still having 2-3 shifting issues, then get on it and pull him by about a car to 85.

On Sunday I went to Sierra Vista to pick up an 80E. I'm cruising about 10mph over the speed limit and a Nissan Altima is riding me tail gate the entire time. I drop it to 3rd and floor it up to about 110 to get him off but he just comes right back up. Finally got out of traffic and I got in the right hand lane, he flies by. Once I saw his tail lights I drop the gear and floor it. by 100 I was next to his door and at 120 he was about 2 cars back. did that 2 more times lol.

So I'm heading back to Tucson from picking up my 4L80E trans in Sierra Vista, When I spot a 08-09 Mustang GT as we are getting onto the interstate. He guns it on the on ramp and I follow suit. Hes cruising around 90 I'm right beside him. I see a puff of white smoke come out of his exhaust and the front lifts up and he starts pulling, so I drop the selector to 3rd and punch it. I immediately stop his pull and by 120 I had him by about a car. We did this several times all the way to Tucson. What made it better is I had an extra 600-700lbs in the truck with the trans, tools and my buddy that went with me to pick it up.

Very happy with the truck. Will be even better when I get the new trans in, a better cam, and a smaller pulley on the procharger.

Yes, I cant wait to get it in. I already have a potential buyer for my current 60E and converter. Once the 80E I'll do some test runs and may re-gear it and run a smaller tire. About 31 for DD and 29-30 for track duty.

installed the 3.85" pulley and gatorback belt on Friday. Havent had a chance to retune but I did run an older Impala SS on 24s and a modded GTP. I was messing with the GTP hardcore lol. I'd fly past him let off around 100, he would start to pass and I'd punch it again and put busses on him. was epic. need to start driving around with the gopro mounted.

Yea, going to start fabbing the FMIC after work today. And start working on the tune with the smaller pulley. Still running 10-11* of timing and seeing about 10psi
