So my buddy has an SRT8 300 and we've been going back and forth about whose faster. I know his car is by far faster than my bolt on truck, but he's a so so driver. Not to mention he's 6'6'' and 400+ pounds, so Im hoping that's in my favor. Think I even have a chance? Stop light to stop light at least. I know they trap in the 100's so on a freeway it'd be pointless.

What do they run stock.

idk man they run 8.6 all day in the 1/8.. and they have good top end ur gonna have to really take the lead that means no burning out.. i still think hes got u by a car or 2

Yeah that's why I'm hoping its from light to light. I'm pretty sure I'm a better driver than him. Also hoping his weight takes off a few tenths lol.

lol, yeah well see if it even happens. He's had the car for 2 years now and not once does he ever take me up on going to the track. We've never had a chance to line em up, but I gotta play my part and talk smack back even if I know he's faster. Stupid Pride lol.

Ill hit him up about racing you. Not sure if he'll bite though. He's pretty much stock with just a Volant Intake. No exhaust or tune. I'll be like hey my buddy in an extended cab 4x4 5.3 silverado wants to race you. lol.

 

Just tell him that im cocky and think im fast cuz im on 4.56 gears and a tune.. lol I wouldn't even race a 5.3 waste of gas lol
