Default 92GMCsierra vs. mercedes- benz!

so i was just minding my own business last saturday night , and i was pulling up to a stop light, i come to a stop and a new mercedes benz just so happens to want to race me, but anyway so i'm sitting there and the drivers was revving the engine i look over and i get the infamous " you wanna race" eye and so without hesitation i was like sure what have i got to lose, so were waiting and suddenly the light turns green, i give my truck a good amount of gas and shoot of the line, i burn the mercedes so bad, the drivers was in aww.... i have nothing on my truck beside a good muffler.

Unless it was a about a 1994-1996 C220 then he wasn't racing. Even if it was a C220 they run high 16's and you didn't 'burn' him. It definately wasn't an S class because you would have lost. I used to have a 92 GMC and I know how fast (slow) they are...

No money = no go. Unless you have alot of dough, you aren't going to be fast in that truck. Hell, even a supercharger will only put you in the 14's in that thing. If you are serious about being fast, get a different vehicle...

if you are going to stay with that truck and want to go fast you have to either convert to gen1 SBC or convert to gen3 LSx type engine, either way is a good bit of money
