Why don't you make your own X-link? I know a guy who did it himself and it works flawlessly. Actually...that's what's on my truck!

I always assume that the parts work and I am just missing something. Usually a pretty safe bet

Then I'd have to get that retro converter plate. Maybe I'll plug it in at least, see what the TPS says.

You should be able to drill the tb or the intake. I have a pro flow at the shop that is drilled for small tb.

He's making it sound simpler than it is lol. I've never looked inside, but that x-link has at least microcontroller and h-bridge chips, and likely a couple other pieces to it.

I have no idea how to do it, somebody much smarter than me did it.
I'll PM you his SN so you can ask him though. He's doesn't come on here anymore though so not sure how quick of a reply you'll get.

I've looked inside before and Dr.X has encased all the wiring and connectors in liquid plastic thereby making it close to impossible to see what he's done unless you get the box hot enough to liquify the plastic again.

(And rightfully so as it's his design and doesn't want it to be copied and he has every right to do as he did, I actually think it was very smart of him to do! And it also prevents any of the connections from working themselves loose over time.)
