what do you guys think?

 

Man thats not good. Is it loud from the top? What lifters and how much preload?

That's not a good sound. Hope it's something simple but in my experience I have never been that lucky

 

smooth painted handles

 

I just read through this entire thread.....and I love your truck!! Can't wait to see what it runs at the track. Do you know the part numbers for the smooth handles that you got for your truck? I have a crew cab and it has the textured handles too.

 

Did you buy paint to match handles and color match them or smooth out some textured ones???

The factory accessory ones I bought had a chrome pull handle. I really want to do a fully painted set.

 

i bought new smooth handles and had them painted. ill see if i can find the boxes they came in to get the part numbers for you.

 

well since the heads are going to be coming off i bought a new set of cnc lsa heads. anyone looking for ls3 heads?
