Did you give any thought to the new TFS LS3 heads? Those would make crazy power in your set up!

yes i did but they were abit out of my budget, while i have my intake off im going to be powder coating it black.

finally had time to work on it today.... looks like a lifter has collapsed.

Does it tap when its cold or hot only? When I had to drive my truck to get reflashed it seemed to have a decent tap once hot(10min of driving).

when i was doing some tuning the other day with the truck warm it started ticking, sounds the same with the truck cold.

ill have the engine tore apart tomorrow, new lifters and heads already on the way.

Hm, hope this isn't the same noise I heard. But the guy doing the cam said he didn't hear a tap when they started it up over the weekend?
