So google says that engine weighs between 1600 and 2000lb depending on which version you get. Thats 3-4times heavier than the engine you have in there. I also believe that engine is all mechanical, so no sensors will work on it. You could probably have it machined for a reluctor wheel so you can get an RPM signal if you really try.

Props for thinking out of the box, but I think I may pass on this project unless you want to spend a lot of time and money on it. A duramax would be a much easier swap if you want a diesel.

1600-2000 better plan some frame mods also.

Im sure you could add those sensors, it would just take some effort to find where to put them.
