Spent all day trying to find a balancer instalation tool, couldnt find one, so spent a few more hours trying to find some m16x2.0 threaded rod, couldnt find that either, so i used the old bolt flipped backwards and hit it with a hammer until i could catch a thread and pulled it on. Hope the thrust bearing survived....

Put it away for the night, im honestly disgusted with the engineering department at general motors. Theres no reason for balancer to be so difficult to install.

For future reference you can gently heat the balancer in the oven then just tap it on with a 2x4

Lufters adjusted, more assembly lube, spun her over about 10 times and she sang to me a little bit, have to get up at 3 am so had to call it a night

So after doing a little bit of research and a little bit of math I THINK my compression ration is going to be about 10.42 to 1. Having never messed with EFI before, is this something that can be tuned for or should I ditch the graphite head gaskets and go with a thicker MLS offering?
