It should be installed in the bucket. Less likely to pick up dirt like you mentioned, and should stay better submerged in the tank. Installing it outside of the bucket is quick and easy and inside the bucket requires a little more effort.

Thank for the fast answer
Is the sock style important? i have a new one here that seems like it would fit better then the one that came with the pump

I dont think so, as long as its big enough not to choke the pump.

Fuel system is done for now, as usual if i would do it all over again i would buy all new fuel lines with nice fittings to make a cleaner installation but that will be a project for the future

On to the pictures
Racetronix has some really nice quality products, the hot wire harness for sure is a nice piece

Gauges (electric fuel pressure gauge, mecanic boost gauge) are installed.
Even if the mecanical fuel pressure gauge is more accurate i dont like the idea of having fuel lines in my cab, i´ll check my idle pressure with this gauge and a mecanical test gauge see how far the eletrical is off once i start the truck.

I like the idea of having the wideband and the boost gauge on the same side

Does anyone know how and where to get the autometer fuel pressure gauge signal to log it with hptuners?
