It should be installed in the bucket. Less likely to pick up dirt like you mentioned, and should stay better submerged in the tank. Installing it outside of the bucket is quick and easy and inside the bucket requires a little more effort.

Fuel system is done for now, as usual if i would do it all over again i would buy all new fuel lines with nice fittings to make a cleaner installation but that will be a project for the future
On to the pictures
Racetronix has some really nice quality products, the hot wire harness for sure is a nice piece

Harness was way to long so i made a roll and put it in the frame

Bucket

thats where i insert the return line

also ordered the intake harness so everything was plug and play

New stock location sock, dont have a part number for this, a local mecanic had it laying around

Bucket back in the tank al done

Inline fuel filter

Gauges (electric fuel pressure gauge, mecanic boost gauge) are installed.
Even if the mecanical fuel pressure gauge is more accurate i dont like the idea of having fuel lines in my cab, i´ll check my idle pressure with this gauge and a mecanical test gauge see how far the eletrical is off once i start the truck.

I like the idea of having the wideband and the boost gauge on the same side
Does anyone know how and where to get the autometer fuel pressure gauge signal to log it with hptuners?
