Probly in t case, I chased a vibration in mine one was a growling noise, in the floor. Tore front diff apart found pits in the carrier bearings and in the pinion so I replaced them. Still had a vibration then I checked the rear axle pulled posi out of it and checked contact and back lash. That was fine, then I changed the Trans to my built 60 when I did my mods hoping it's was a planetary. Nope, then I thought I'd shake down the front end and one of the wheel hubs was rough and loose. It was the third time I checked it did it actually show up being bad. Changed it and the growling vibration is gone.... But I still have intermittent clunks and thuds in my floor board. From the **** box awd t case... Lol maybe this helps but probly won't..

Haven't actually measured them but that's because they look so good. It's in my short list of things to check.

Yea You did... Unfortunately I haven't had time to check them yet. I really don't think it will be my problem but certainly can't rule it out without actually measuring.

I'm not getting any moaning or groaning like I have a bad bearing somewhere... But anything is possible and I appreciate all ideas.

Thanks guys.

Ya it was a tough one for me to rule out. It wouldn't make the noise when you would jack it up and free spin. When you think about it these trucks are drivetrain nightmares to diagnose. There are roller/ taper bearings all over the place and everything is magnesium/aluminum. So the slightest noises/ vibrations are magnified and conducted through the chassis.

My tcase just one day started making these awful noises. I **** you not it was soo loud I thought I dropped a driveshaft/ or sheered the roll pin in a final drive and it was slapping the pinion I had to stop and get out and look. That's what my t case sounds like when it changes the front to rear bias.. Also why I no longer care to kill it on the dyno.. Lol. Not sure what killed it to be honest truck has been babied the whole time I've had it. The only thing I can think is when I bought it I changed the fluid in t case and didn't put the blue smurf jizz back in.. Not sure if it's a common failure or not.

Blue smurf jizz is important for the vicious coupling.

We need more videos of the corsa exhaust. For as long as youve been around here I'd think youd know atleast one rev in an exhaust video is mandatory. Im disappointed in you

You should stick to what GM recommends in the transfer cases

Ah I know... I had planned to have much more by now but I'm chasing my tail with this vibration. I'll have actual good videos of it soon.

if you can duplicate the noise/vibration at very light to no load, then knock the transmission into neutral at the regular speed that you feel it and give the engine a few revs +/- of the rpm that you feel the vibration.

If it doesn't change with engine speed, it's drivetrain.
