Usabodyguard's Project - Blwnlsx

We worked on it until about 9pm, we did not get finished, maybe an hour or so left, but I have a couple of questions for aeromotive in the morning, so tomorrow, unless we need some parts, we'll try and fire it up... all the fluids are in, motor has been cranked over to get some oil pressure, but we have a fuel pressure issue... so I will know in the morning when aeromotive calls me.

couple of pics...
Just a side shot I took for whatever reason

This next shot I am missing A LOT of parts... namely the polished reservior (getting repolished), the CAI - truck goes on tuesday for a custom piece from Spectre, missing some wiring, also...
I have a custom carbon fiber radiator shroud and a fuse box cover - both 100% carbon fiber. The CF has a clear coat on it, and the company logo is in black vinyl UNDER the clear. So I had a bunch of sponsor stickers made in black vinyl, I wet sanded the shroud and box lid with 1000 grit, I mocked up the general location of the stickers - tomorrow I will take off the white backing and apply the black stickers, then I will have both pieces RE-Cleared, so the stickers will be all under a clear coat, should look sick... check it out -

more updates soon.

Two things...
One the way you've layed out your sponsor stickers is very very cool!! I don't like it when people put them on their windows or on the quarter panels or back windshield etc... I think the way you have it is really classy and doesn't take away from the look of the truck!! Very
indeed!!
Second I really like your catch can and it's location, very cool! How is it mounted?

Do you plan on putting any miles on the truck before it is finalized? I think I would probably do the sponsored stickers with the clear last. Just incase you make a change to something and it is not on your truck for sema. Just thinking that you might run this truck for a bit before it is finalized. Just a thought. Vince B
