I havent posted much progress lately, but I am in the middle of a pretty extensive build with SEMA 09 in my sights...
I have a bunch of sponsors on board, a big thanks to them (more on them later), but I am having the truck completely repainted... all of the windows, mirrors, trim, etc all pulled... doing a complete oem ss front end conversion, new grills, lights, etc, etc.... anyways, not to get long winded, i thought I would post a few on the paint pics from today... truck has been in the paint shop going on 4 weeks and should be there for another 2-3 weeks... paint/body/parts... 12k+.... 4 coats of paint, 6 coats of clear!






i didnt take pics of the shaved tailgate, gas cap, front end, grill assembly, roll pan, tonneau cover, etc...

Peekaboo I see those big pimpin wheels sticking out!! better not show those in public!!

 

BTW - the reason the top and back of the cab are taped off, is because my painter is 5'7" (on a good day) and he already painted that part(s) a couple days ago and had to lean against the sides and stand in the bed... but they are painted just like what you see.

those are the beater stock 20's i got from my tire sponsor... they are used denali XL 20's.... horrible...

as long as you clean up after yourself, you can have sex with her... I know its been awhile...

 

I know they're the ugly 20's...I was laughing because one of them is showing it's ugle head! Cuz you know when your rolling on those in town your big pumpin like it's 1995!!

The paint on that ride was already outstanding.... WOW!

 

Thats going toi be one sick a$$ truck when done.

Truck was already very nice cant wait it when finished.

I love the shade of blue, wow, very very nice. I am really hoping I can make SEMA this year and take a gander up close.
