I know this is dragging on, but each time I move on to a different aspect of the build, I am upgrading it... here are some updates...
This week the new motor (sans fuel sys/supercharger/accessories) went in, smoothly I might add. Will post pics later.
Truck went down to paint on thursday... here is the concept -
Two-toned (existing) Blue (bottom color) with House of Kolor Glamour metallic Orion Silver (top color) with a heavy blue pearl... Body line graphic separator with a charcoal gray metallic with silver leaf (real silver leaf foil) with pearl blue over... shaved the door handles (yes i know, no track for this truck) new third brake light, new calvu mirrors... pinstriping in areas, all with several coats of clear. If we can do it in time, we will be painting the wilwood calipers body color blue, with orion silver letters - WILWOOD. New dash overlay will be painted silver too.
In the meantime, still waiting for my custom fuel cell.
I finally figured out my injectors - Racetronix 96# LE with a driver box.
Got my fuel rails from Aeromotive, they are anodized red, so theyre getting shipped off to get stripped and redone in blue anodizing.
Im down to the details of this build... expensive but worth it to me anyways.
I'll post some pics soon.
