Havent updated this in awhile... so some new updates...
After the last couple of weeks of stress, waiting on parts, and basically runnning out of time... it doesnt look like i will make my May 12th deadline for the magazine. Entirely too much stuff to be done, and simply not enough time... so other than a couple of tech articles, I wont be gracing the cover of the annual HP edition at Truckin' magazine... at least that is what I told the guys at the mag today.
They still want to cover the truck so they are trying to work something out... Brandan didnt seem real happy lol... but honestly, so much has to be done before then... I talked to Brian about this and he was very happy i decided to back out, he looked at me last week and said I looked like hell (FU brian lol) anyways, I am not back into cruise control, and today I actually had a great day, and alot got accomplished anyways... here is what came in the mail.
Circle D BILLET 4l80e Converter Many thanks to the guys (Chris) over at Circle D, true professionals... this is their flagship model converter for my 80E, stalled to 2800...

Next I picked up all my parts from Powder Coat - Polish...
I had my dynatech LT's ceramic coated to 1700*
my Alt bracket powder coated polish alt and polished Waterpump inlet...

Last but not least, the first half of my custom fuel set up from Aeromotive...
AN fittings all in black
10 Micron Filter
Billet Fuel Pump Speed Controller
Pro-Series EFI Regulator
-10 Main line
-8 Return line

Still to come - custom made stainless fuel cell from Ricks Hot Rod Tanks, with an Eliminator Fuel Pump, 100 Micron Fuel filter... 90# injectors with a driver box, fuel rails...
plus some much more stuff...
So now that I am not stressed for time, I will most likely be finished in early summer... in time for some shows and g2gs

Ill be very interested to see how that converter works out for you. The one Chris recommended me was the 258mm triple disk, 32-3400 for the 80e.....I'm assuming yours is a 258 10.25" as well?

Man I wish I had your patience. First post was 9 1/2 months ago and you were already deep into then. So how long has it been and approx how much longer until its finished. Wish you the best man. I know the wait is going to be worth it.
