Score! A kickdown cable is just for a non computer controlled tranny. It uses the throttle position to downshift the tranny when needed.

Should be a really fun truck. How much weight difference is there between that s10 and a full size pickup 99-07 classic?

without any weight reduction my ballpark guess will be around 3200-3400 lbs with me in it.

i havent gotten that far yet. probably a stock 4.3 radiator with ls1 electric fans. this 2.2L radiator definately won't hang.

I dont know if you mentioned it, are you gonna ditch a/c and move the radiator into the core support a few little more room?
