Looks bad *** man!

The gauges look great. The balancer looks killer, I love those IW balancers.

Be careful installing the 8 rib set up... i just went through that this weekend and my power steering and alt pullies were nowhere near lining up. Apparently its a common thing on SSS and Denali trucks. Its not the hardest fix in the world... but it does involve a trip to the machine shop.

Don't go too crazy with blower pullies until you get the other mods on there. That 3.0 will send your boost through the roof on a stock LQ9!

Thanks, im really happy with the gauges so far. They seem to be made well and the wideband comes with a bosch sensor.
yeah, The 3.0 is for after the heads and cam. The 3.3 should give me somewhere between 10 to 12 psi and I probably shouldn't go more than that right now. I'm seeing 6psi on the 3.8 now.

Do you know how to calculate the belt size since I now have a 10% overdrive balancer and 3.3 pulley?

I dont know how to calculate belt size, but I can check my belt size tonight and give you a ball park.

As far as boost... its gonna show you a heck of a lot more than 10-12 PSI after the OD balancer. I wouldnt be surprised to see 15# on your stock motor. Maybe less in the summer heat. But you are right, I would be weary of going any higher than that without the addition of meth, or running e85 with the compression of the LQ9.

I think Pat ran that same pulley and saw 13 PSI on his cammed LQ4. He also runs a larger diameter intake tube which helps him build boost though.

Maybe he can chime in since he has the same exact blower and OD balancer that you have.

Thanks. I called Magnuson today to order the HD tensioner and Garrett told me there shouldn't be much difference in length between the new 8 rib and the belt that came with it, 109-3/8". I think I'll just go ol school and lock the tensioner half way with a screw driver, bust out a piece of masonry line and do it that way!

I forgot you have the same setup as me or I have the same setup as you, lol. You're running the IW setup with 10% OD? Do you have a part number and or belt length? Also, don't I need to change the lower belt too...if so, it would be great if you had info. on that one too. Thanks Pat!

Thanks for the heads up on the IW setup. Seems like for the amount of $ they charge for their setup, they'd be selling pulleys that all line up properly. Exactly what did they need to do to get everything to line up? Did you have to take your whole truck there for them to figure out how much to mill things or did you take measurements of how much they were off and just give them the pulleys?

I just took the stock alt pulley and stock PS pulley and aligned the new ones with them. I am having them maching the back of the pullies so that the mounting depth matches the factory ones. I was very specific to tell them that i wanted them to match based on the deep part of the first rib.
