Default Turbo 3.5 to Turbo 4.8 LY2 swap

Figured I'd start my build thread for this as I'm getting more of the pieces together now.

Project vehicle:
2006 Chevy Colorado

Current setup, 3.5 Inline 5, 61mm turbo, intercooled, meth injection, 80# injectors, 4L60 with super servos

Plan for swap is mid-January before I start the school semester.

So story as to why is I threw too much timing on the 3.5 and oil is going places it shouldn't...too much blow by. So instead of throwing money and time at it, going bigger with a junkyard 4.8L LY2 from a 07 Sierra. Pairing it up with a junkyard 4L80.

Plans are to put in a LS6 cam and valve springs, port the heads, and throw a turbo on it.
4L80 will get a aftermarket torque converter and shift kit.
Will run e85 and since I'm going no intercooler for the time being, use the meth kit I have to cool the intake temp down.
Motor may or may not get more goodies depending on money. But will be looking to upgrade the rear in the spring for more power.

Finally got the major pieces:Motor, 4L80, and turbo kit

Turbo kit ready to drop in from Cory Johnson, Man can make anything, I swear

Ready to start working on this motor, pretty much got a whole new belt system for it. New intake manifold, new alternator.

Ditch the meth, don't run it if you're using E85 man. Sell it and use some of the money selling it on a ebay intercooler.

Nice project! Also I would not spend any money in ported heads cause iv seen stock ones make 900rwhp, instead work on getting a better suited cam that will get you spooled up quicker.

Meth is just gonna be to cool the intake temp, a/c condenser is in the way on the front of these trucks, I need to move it and then I'll look for a bigger intercooler
