Something wicked this way comes

If you don't mind me asking, what was he asking for the 2dr 2wd Tahoe?
I feel your pain about wanting a 2dr 2wd Tahoe. I regret selling mine. I took a 2400 mile road trip for it. It is now in TX and in great hands. He's a member here to, what are the odds of that. It's been about 3 years and we still keep in touch, he sends me pics with updates, haha.
If that's what you desire, stick to your guns. One will pop up eventually.

They were asking $8,000. The truck was completely misrepresented. I'd like to have one, but I really don't need one right now. I am in the middle of the build of my 2dr Yukon and I'm in the planning stages of building a new shop this coming spring. I really don't need anymore projects. It was just an impulse

This came in today. Very nice kit and affordable price compared to all the other companies out there. Only thing I'm not liking about the kit is it uses a CS130 alternator. I think I can make due with it though. I picked up the full kit and with a hydroboost pump.
I picked up a rebuild kit for my 4L80e from Jakes Performance and a set of Pacesetter ceramic coated headers.
My truck goes off to the body shop next week for a full paint job, truck bedline the underside of the body and remove the body from the frame and fully sandblast and paint the unassembled frame. Of course it will get all put back together with all new suspension and steering.
My engine is still in the machine shop. Wish they would hurry up!
Inching closer!!!

One step closer...The short block is finally complete! All machine work done and assembled. I'm in the process of getting some stuff situated and not able to dive into full bore on the build of this truck yet. I have a family member take ill and so that takes priority in my life. Hopefully, though, in the coming weeks I'll be able to finally get going on this truck and get it done.
