I got the clevis mounts for the front end straps today and got everything installed but the straps I ordered (10") are too short! Damn! I ordered some 12" that should be here sometime this week....Also have the new rear shock mounts tacked up, now I just need a better welder to finish them off.
I changed the rear diff fluid, trans, and motor oil and everything looks great. I cut open the oil filter for the engine and everything looks normal!

For now just letting the truck idle longer after runs, but I was already letting it idle for a few minutes so I dont know how much help that will be.
Ive started to shift the blanket over so it can loose heat easier after I park it, but I may end up taking the blanket off all together. I ordered a infared heat gun so ill see if the temp is rising after I shut it off...

When I had the compressor wheel upgraded he basically rebuilt the turbo, so all the bearings are new.
I was under the impression a turbo timer just keeps the engine idling for a few minutes...which is what im doing anyway.

Yea, a B&M 30,000btu, -8 line...
oil temps are fine, usually always under 220, its just the turbo sits there and cooks the oil after I shut it down, even after letting it idle for a few minutes.
