I was talking about the ladder too. He said he u-bolted the ladder with two u-bolts; I would do four and leave it at that, with bungees for looks and no ratchet straps. JMHO.

Sweet times! 6.50 is about 10.2 to 10teen in the 1/4. That ladder is cool but It's prob causing air turbulance up there and costing a mph or two. Id pull it off next time just to see.

This was my first time at the track since I put it on so I wanted to get some reactions from people and had probably 20 people come up and comment on it

Next time when I figure out something for the rear suspension so maybe I dont spin as much ill take it off...its really just two allen bolts and the posts pull straight up.

So I have an idea for the rear....anyone ever put spacers or something on the rear bump stops to move them closer to the axle? Im thinking if I move it down far enough it will limit the rear travel but still leave it soft enough to transfer the weight smoothly.

I've never seen it done, but I don't see why it wouldn't work as long as it doesn't tear the rubber (which it would probably do if the bump stops are original from '99, they get pretty dry and brittle).

I was leaving for work one day about two years ago and felt something drop off my truck. Looked in the rear view mirror and one of my bumpstops were laying on the ground .

Oh believe me they look pretty knarly already from being old...I may swap them for the ones on my 04. Since my 04 has lift springs in the rear they never touch the axle anyway so they look brand new. It seems like an easy way to limit downward movement while still maintaining some amount of travel.

Also had this happen at the track...
