You cant just install the headers because the ypipe is going to come up and interfere with the headers. Whatever ypipe you are running with your factory manifolds HAS to come off in order to install the lt headers. Are you looking to get them installed at one shop then take it to another to build the y to mate it to your catback or getting it all done at one place and checking prices for the header install itself?

FYI 5 years ago I paid 100 bucks to get my dynatechs installed, and that was with reworking the pipes on my true duals to mate up to the collectors

IIRC you are going to be running catless with a corsa touring correct? If so PLEASE get some sound clips, Ive had the sport and its way too raspy at part throttle acceleration around 2500rpms, Im hoping a touring knocks some of that down.

Without going into detail for the reasons why (mainly costs of labor)...the shop that is doing the 3" Y-pipe is different from where the headers will be getting installed. It would be an open header until it gets flat-bedded over to the other shop for the Y-pipe. I refuse to drive it open header, lol. The stock Y-pipe/cats would be completely removed once the headers are on, I know it does not bolt up! Sorry if there was misunderstanding about that.

As far as the exhaust setup goes, Stainless Works headers into 3" collector to 3" ORY. That will go into a Dynomax Bullet (to reduce the rasp) then into my Corsa Touring setup. If it still has too much rasp or I don't like it, I'll either add another Bullet or switch the exhaust out completely.

Only thing left is the transmission (week of 8/4/09) and maybe throw in the LS6 cam. I just want to be able to drive this truck again!

Yeah, there was a misunderstanding I thought you were thinking you could just disconnect the ypipe and throw a set of headers in and be alright. I forgot Im talking to the new Robbie, thats actually been under the hood of his truck

Just to give you some experience Ive had with the corsa/lts/no cats setup, a bullet wont get the job done. I had to add a magnaflow spun cat in addition to a magnaflow 14" case bullet muffler. I went with the magnaflow bullet so everything would stay stainless. That finally got rid of the rasp and made it perfect but still pretty damn loud, of course this was with a sport not a touring. If its too raspy with your setup I still have that intermediate pipe Id let go for fairly cheap. Its a corsa intermediate with a stainless qtp 3" cutout, then magnaflow spun cat then magnaflow 14" case bullet. Its just been hanging under the truck for the last year or so

hang on to it brother, I might take it. Let me just see how this sounds with the touring. My wife has the Sport on her NNBS Burban and it sounds like a cigarette boat. If she had LTs, I'd HATE it. But the touring is VERY quiet on my truck, almost inaudible at idle sitting in an open area. Gets 'slightly' loud under heavy throttle, but personally not loud enough for me. Sound clips will definetly follow once I get it installed!

Yeah, definetly the new"er" Robbie. Slowly learning more and more, but its a process. Definetly glad I did the installs on my own, learned alot. Now only if I had all my **** down in FL and not NC, I'd do the headers and whatnot myself.

IIRC, one goes to the EVAP, one goes to the Brake Booster, and the other to the bypass on the side of the blower

Are the installation instructions the same as the older 112? Where do you put the intercooler if you have a big trans cooler?

not the exact same. removal is all the same, but it all pretty much changes after that. Connections are the same, just different locations, etc. Instructions are very detailed, even I could do it, lol.

You'd either have to fab up some brackets for a new intercooler or run the joe gibbs style setup I guess? The brackets included with the TVS gives it some decent space over the factory trans cooler. I have a B&M cooler going in and it still had clearance when I mocked it up.
