Yeah saw the other thread.... Sounds like you may need to relearn the vats!

Lovely, is that something that I can do myself without special tools?

Yeah, it takes about 20-30 minutes to do but basically try to crank it over, leave key on for 15 minutes, turn key off and back on for 15 minutes. At least i think thats what it is i can look it up for sure here in a minute... I would still try swapping your crank sensor with a known good one and see what happens, iirc vats kills fuel but not spark..but injectors and coils fire from crank signal...

Yeah, definitely has no spark and could not feel the injectors pulsing while cranking. The engine ran when I removed it from the other truck. I am wondering if somewhere in the wiring harness to the crank sensor - I have an issue.

Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
 2. Attempt to start the engine, then release the key to ON; the vehicle will not start.
 3. Observe the SECURITY telltale; after approximately 10 minutes the telltale will turn OFF.
 4. Turn OFF the ignition, and wait 5 seconds.
 5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 two more times for a total of 3 cycles/30 minutes; the vehicle is now ready to relearn the Passlock Sensor Data Code and/or passwords on the next ignition switch transition from OFF to CRANK.
Important: The vehicle learns the Passlock Sensor Data Code and/or password on the next ignition switch transition from OFF to CRANK. You must turn the ignition OFF before attempting to start the vehicle.

 6. Start the engine. The vehicle has now learned the Passlock Sensor Data Code and/or password.
 7. With a scan tool, clear any DTCs, if needed. History DTCs will self clear after 100 ignition cycles

try this first

It's running, see other thread for details.

My initial thoughts - the cam is really tame, I expected more chop from it. But, totally OK with that. This truck is my daily driver, so error to the mild side of things is good. The exhaust system is nice and mellow, again that's good. It's a bit rich at idle and the throttle hangs when I rev it. Can't wait to put some miles on it.

Get a pigtail for the crank sensor, just to eliminate any more issues with it later on!!!

Off the lift under it's own power, finally. Hope the transmission is OK, not liking how it's shifting. No SES lights, etc. More than likely needs more fine tuning and to be driven more.
