Damn, so much for hoping it was just a small issue. I think you'll be happy regardless with the 4.8 in there. Might lose a little on the low end but up top once you really spin it you'll make plenty of power to keep you grinning from ear to ear.

 

Just picked up this little ****... 2007 gen 4 4.8 with 39k on it, $430 out the door. Cheapest I have seen around here, I think I made out all right. Should pull its weight while the 6.0 is down.

Nah it wasn't on craigslist, it was at a salvage yard in phoenix. They had it on the shelf for over 150 days so the price was real low. It will be seeing its fair share of boost

 

Ah. Good deal. I'm always scoping craigslist eventhough the Tucson craigslist is horrible. There's an 07 4.8 listed on there for 500 but no intake.
