Well pulled the valve body and changed the tcc isolator valve, and Tcc regulator valve with sonnex problem solvers. To do so we had to ream the valve body with a special reamer. The tcc solonoid appeared to still be fine it was new since rebuild 5k miles ago. Reassembled an refilled fluids went out and drove it. The lock up in converter feels firm now. Went to tuner to data log to see if it was better and reset line pressures and adjusted shift points it can now do wot pulls in tow haul with converter locked up in third.

Been along road with this issue, learned a lot more than I cared to about this stuff lol.
Suprised to say the Trans still shifts fine and is able to slam gears, I'm suprised this has not been an issue do to the excessive extreme temps it has seen. I'm unsure how long it will last at this time only time can tell... Thanks to all that have given there opinions on it and the help. I'm glad to say the issue is now fixed. Some things I noticed were for some reason the spring in the regular valve appeared to have been modified and showed marks from a cutoff wheel on it and the valve itself showed wear and looked like it had been sticking. Pretty weird stuff. I have no idea why someone would mess with a tcc circuit with stock parts etc. We changed the lockup values in tune to make the lock up on/off and did away with pulse width modulation.

It now on wot pulls shifts at 6200 on 1-2/3-4 shifts rev limiter is at 6500 all is well and happy at this time. It still pulls hard past that but being a stock bottom end daily driver I was good with that lol. Just wanna drive it for a while and enjoy it. I'll get some new vids now that I feel comfortable racing people since Trans is ok now. I'll be at KC2K Kansas street car take over... If anyone is goin hit me up!! We will be doin some races with a turbo camaro... Hopefully throw fr8trn a beating lol.

My nitrous kit won't be on yet I was waiting to get Trans issue sorted out.

I towed a car with it yesterday had no issues, and Trans stayed under 200* the whole time I'd say issue is resolved.

People being retards... This was done on purpose! By someone! It was pretty tough thing to find. It's not electrical this was an alteration to the valve body for unknown reasons. I have no idea why anyone would want to alter the converter lockup circuit in any way mechanically when you can do so in tune.

It had a surge/ slipping issue that caused fluid to heat to 260*+

Took truck to heartland park Topeka pulled a friends car there. He ran a 8.95@168 in his turbo camaro. I went and ran mine all I could get from it was a 14.5@93 I was really hoping for some 13's from it. It's dosent pull on the big end of the track like I would like. Hits third and blah. Kinda wonder if 2-3 shift needs to be a lil higher rpm @ wot.. Was fun tho raced a Subaru and beat it as well as a g8. And ran another Denali truck with a 416 stroker and tied it. So I don't feel too bad and nothin broke so it was a good day.

Can you post up the slip? That's a low speed for sure.

Do you know what the DA was? The times really aren't that good... But it's encouraging you tied something with a 416 haha.

Ya were pretty high in elevation compared to you guys at sea level. Ya the 416 guy was probly not happy he tied a sbe 6.0L and his def pulled harder on the big end. He seemed like a nice guy and will probly be having us do some mods. His truck gets 7mpg regardless he said... Idled like ****, overall had a terrible tune. My truck was getting roughly 12mpg while towing a 6k lb trailer. So a tune could help him for sure! The cam in my truck is slightly bigger than his and with a smaller lsa and is way more drivable than his.

I will see what I can find out for da yesterday there.
