I'd probably have to swap in a Allison and I'm not sure I'm gonna be using this thing in such a way that I'll need a Allison in it. But if I ever do put an Allison in here than you can bet I'm gonna start making some power with this thing. Right now I'm gonna stop at 400/800, that was my goal for my towing needs...hopefully my 4L85E agree's with me.

Butt-dyno is loving it! It no longer lugs around or feels like it's 6500lbs anymore, feels more like 4500lbs. I haven't floored it anywhere nor do I plan to because I want that 4L85E to live as long as possible. Most I've gone is about half throttle and the van really scoots out of it's own way now which is great, I can easily overtake people and beat people into a lane or get off from a stop fast enough to switch lanes if need be to make a turn. And the whistle sound from the Turbo is ADDICTING!! Not as nice as from my regular truck but still really fun to listen too!

So here's a few pics from my exhaust swap...
Here's my stock exhaust before getting pulled out:

And here's what was built in it's place...
Looking forward and up to the Down Pipe
Looking back and to where the pipe leads over the passenger frame rail

And then looking back from the outside passenger frame rail

Here's the loop when not installed

For some reason I don't have any pics from then on, but it opens up to 4" from that point and then dumps before the passenger rear tire out at a 90. I painted it black so it's less visible but I might redo it in a few weeks/months depending on how annoying or how much I enjoy the rumble. If I do redo it I might throw the Catalytic converter back on so that I can still pass smog...unless they require it to be in the stock location at which point I'll probably put a bullet in or something. We'll see, right now I absolutley love how loud it is, it makes people do a double take because it's coming from a Van!

Another reason I did this was that I wanted all that extra room that is between the drive shaft and the frame rails that was otherwise being used by the MASSIVE exhaust system. Here is all the free space that was opened up with the bulky and extensive exhaust removed, I plan on putting in a fresh water tank, a compressor and air tanks, a generator and then where the spare tire used to be I will install one of the floor storage boxes that are accessed from the inside of the cargo van.
