I tried with the VHT stuff and it didn't come out too well. I think a light shade of window tint would be a better solution.
Thanks, I've got a small idea of where I'm going with this, getting closer and closer to being there just got a little bit more to go until I'm there.
What's left is...
Interior:
-Build Shelf/Closet along passenger side wall
-Install Fridge
-Replace front seats and have passenger seat on a swivel.
Exterior:
-Install Pop-Top
-LED Light Bar
-Install generator
-Install Fresh water Tank
-Install exterior ladder
-Paint
Suspension:
-4-Link rear, with air-bags on all four corners.
Drivetrain:
-Convert to IFS 4WD
I think that's it for now, I'm sure there's a few things missing but it's almost finished.
Pics!!

My wife changes her mind quicker then her underwear. The last thing I want to do is buy her an expensive vehicle. I found this repossessed, wrecked, and catalytic converter stolen on a car lot I was doing work for. Picked it up for $1,000, had one customer do all the mechanical work, another customer do the body work, and two others supplied parts. I now have $1550 invested in it, including the brand new Michelin tires.
Plans include a rear entertainment system, vinyl wrap on the lower half of the body, Mark 3 conversion interior swap, and replacement ground effects on the drivers side. Mechanically it will remain stock.

Man-Van modding is on hold, got a job and am headed to the Far East for the next 5-6 weeks. Not sure what I have planned for it when I get back. More focus'ed/excited on getting a trailer that I'm having built. It's a combination Toy Hauler/Car hauler. Should be interesting.
I'm assuming that SAS is a Solid front axle.
Reasons for going IFS and not SAS are Weight, handling, and asthetics. A Solid axle adds more weight that an IFS system, makes the vehicle handle much poorer because of the limitation in suspension (primarily Leaf Springs), and it also will raise the ride height of the Van, which would be great if I plan on off-roading it, but I'm not planning on doing that at all with it.
SAS is ideal for alot of reasons and situations but for what I plan to do with it, I'd rather go with a IFS front end. Also on a personal note I think it looks ugly! Lol
