Well, drove the truck 150 miles today and no issues!! Not as much get up and go power as I would like but that's what I get for running this motor N/A when I built it for boost. Dropped the brakes off at Wilwood, big thanks to Tarrant!
Also got my windows tinted, amazing what tint will do to a truck!!
Hung out with Rex a little bit and threw some ideas around and next spring I think I'm gonna pull this motor out and make a high compression 408. When I say high, I'm talking relative to the 8.8:1 motor that I'm running now! So maybe 10:1 or so, low enough to handle boost but high enough to be plenty torquey N/A.
Hope to have a Rhino liner in the bed tomorrow and stereo and gauges in by the weekend.

I plan on getting a good video of the truck at WOT next Wednesday when it's on the Dyno getting tuned, it'll be easier then anyways.
I really like my truck!! Drives really stiff but for now I can deal with it, makes me feel like I'm on a race track, it's super responsive!

LET ME TESTIFY...!

I got to see this for this in person for the first time, and a RIDE!!

I dont care what you say, your truck sounds badass, the exhaust looks way better in person, especially when he finishes the plates around it and paints the truck.

Truck was FAST too... surprising for an N/A setup!!

Thanks for the help too with my TB bro...

are you going to get that stereo stuff done this week?

I think I was spoiled with my last truck and 700rwhp so my butt dyno is probably way off but I'm gonna guess high 2xx's low 3xx's. So I'm just gonna say 300rwhp. Well see how accurate I am come next Wednesday. Motor's built for boost so until it see's some it's not gonna be too happy, so I'll accommodate it before I rebuild it!

Glad I could be of help and take one unknown out of the equation!!
I will call them (forgot the owners name) tomorrow and set-up an appointment for Friday morning, I'm hoping they can get the stereo done by Saturday but if not then Tuesday will work as well I guess. Gonna see if I can't load my bike up on the truck that way I can ride my bike back home while they have the truck.
I like the exhaust as well and the truck sounds pure evil!! As far as the power goes...like I told you today, I think I was just spoiled with the neck snapping acceleration of my last truck to appreciate this one just yet.

I would imagine after having a 700rwhp truck, everything you drive after would feel like a turd... I wish I could relate to that Haha

Well I got a bedliner sprayed in today. I went with Rhino liner and so far am pleased, still needs to set but I had to haul my bike home so too bad for the curing process!

I also took a few pictures of the exhaust tips so people can decide if they like em or not. I still need to build/make a plate that will go around the hole but for now this is good enough.
