post up some pics of the dash install you had done im interested to see how they did it

 

Actually I left them the dash, the owner of this shop is a perfectionist and I was ready to drive off with it but he pleaded with me to keep it so he could put a couple more coats of paint on it and do a little more finishing touches on it so I obliged. So everything is installed as far as stereo and what not but as of now I don't have that center dash which is no biggie for right now. I also have to get a few switches to help finish up the wiring.
I'll post them upwhen it's finished.

 

So...got a Dodge Ram 1500 resonator installed after the muffler, sorry but I didn't bring my camera! I tucked it pretty far up underneath and painted it black. Also got the exhaust routed more horizontally to prevent the resonation of the dumped tip. truck sounds 95% stock with the cut-outs closed!! The valvetrain which is the only thing that is louder than the exhaust.

Also got the Front brakes back on and they work like a charm!! No more sticking, and the truck stops like fat lady driving by a twinkie shop! Wilwood told me I had two bend pistons which is why they wouldn't retract back into the cylinders...
I also drilled and hollowed the PCV valve and she doesn't seem to want to pop out anymore...at least as of yet!
Gonna try to hook up my wideband tomorrow AM and then get tuned in the early PM.

Good deal Julien, even though you've made some mistakes I bet it feels a lot better to do it all yourself. Everyone makes mistakes Im just glad you decided to do it all yourself. Good job, you're almost there

damn the exits on your exhaust look killer! and pics of the underside? how hard was it to fab something up like that? i was going to but have an issue with cutting into the SSS cladding.

 

Thanks Cody!! Your absolutely right about the feeling of doing it myself. I'm actually thankful I've had such **** poor experiences at prior speed shops because it motivated me to get off my lazy *** and do it myself. And I'm not embarrassment in the least about some of the mistakes I've made, yeah some were quite boneheaded but it's life, it happens, it's who I am and it gives me a chance to laugh at myself for my stupidity!
And sharing my stupidity with you guys keep me humble!

Thanks man, the only issue I had cutting through the fender was nervousness. Can't really go back once you make the first pass and although I didn't so much mind other people's reactions, good and bad(albeit it's all helpful on getting a different perspective on it), I was worried that I wasn't gonna like it. And I kinda do now but I still plan on putting some plates around the holes and cleaning up the tips after which I think I will really like it. Nothing hard if you have the right tools, and if you don't I would suggest finding a quality muffler shop that has all the right tools and aren't a bunch of low-life's (hard combo to find). They should be able to do anything like that and make it clean!

 

Glad to see you got her up and running, and got the bugs worked out. You still need my turbo stuff though!

I think you need to buy his turbo stuff too. Get that thing running right
