You lost me dustin, you talking about the level sensor? I have the harness plug, just no sensor in the bottom of the overflow tank, think it fell out. I could dissable it like your suggesting but I figure since I have the harness capabilities, might as well use it!
I'm gonna have enough floating connecters as it is anyways!
I think I counted 12 at last count!

Went shopping yesterday!!

Went to Harbor Freight for the first time...
That place is cool as ****!!
Kinda wish I woulda gone there before I bought most of my tools, coulda easily save lots and lots of money but...oh well! Also bought some stuff off of Dave that he isn't gonna be using anymore, such as his coolant tank, Air box, alternator and some other random stuff.
So I spent a little bit of the morning installing this big clunky metal thing...

I have a Sears work bench which is not much more than MDF I'm afraid so I went to Home Depot and got a few things to help secure it better...

Along with the nuts and bolts I bought some 3/8th inch thick steel washers and figured I would need some rubber mounts so that if the Vice does move around a little bit, it wouldn't start scoring and digging into the bench.
I found that these door stoppers/furniture pads to be exactly the perfect size! So I drilled a hole in the middle so the bolt can go through...

Also bought some steel washers for underneath, and you can see the holes I drilled in the bench...

Anyways, I forgot to take a picture of the finished product but will try and remember later. I did get my bellhousing cover/inspection cover finally!!

As soon as I saw it though I knew immediately that it isn't gonna fit, I don't have that much room between the flex plate and the engine for that lip to fit between. Think I might have to hack up that cover to make it fit!!
Also here is the gap I was talking about between the converter and the oil pump...

Talked to Chuck @ FLT who said it sounded like a big gap when I explained it to him but suggested I talk to Dave @ Yank. So I gave him a call and he said that it looks big when compared to a stock converter because their housings are not as tall or wide if you will. So to compensate and make sure that the shafts stick in far enough they have a longer converter shaft and it looks like it's not installed all the way but in actuality it is. He suggested I disconnect the converter and push it down flush against the oil pump again just to make sure it is in fact all the way in and bolt it up again, so I will do that tomorrow if I can.
I also started on the fuel system, pics on that when I finish it though!

I got an early start today and thought I was gonna have the whole day to finish the truck up but apparently it wasn't meant to be, however I did get a few things accomplished which was good.
Here's the pic of the Vice...

Now I gotta secure the work bench to the floor because the whole bench starts to move when I out pressure on the vice!!
I got most of the fuel system figured out and done. I had to tear about 30% of it apart again and redo it because of fitment and clearance issues which ate up a good portion of my time but that's life!
This is what I started with...

And this is where I am at the moment + a few things not pictured...

I got these vice clamps that make rigging these fuel lines really easy...compared to how hard it would be without them!!

Only thing that is holding me back from finishing the fuel system at the moment is I need to fab a bracket to hold the FPR up against the firewall, after that I can hook up the remainder of the wiring harness, bolt on the exhaust and the intake, fill her with fluid, flash in a tune and go vroom vroom.
Speaking of exhaust, I noticed I had a third bung in my headers...

what's the extra one for? I guess I'll got get a plug for it. I have two O2 sensors that will plug in to each header but other than that I don't know of or have anything else to screw into the third bung.
