If you calculate the pitch on the threads of the bolt, you can figure out how many turns it will take to equal .104". If you mark the balancer and bolt with a pen, you can keep track of your theoretical "bottom out". If you get the torque you are after before you "bottom out" then it's good to go.

It'll be no problem Grip. You've got plenty of room to spare. Minimum should be less than .060" or about 1.5mm. You're gonna get all the threads available. Nice work securing the pulley.

Quick update: Checking on-board the USS Decatur (DDG-73) tomorrow so I'm officially back on Sea Duty........I'll find out what the ships schedule is tomorrow and although I can't share it with you I'll be able to get a rough time-line on the trucks completion date. I am highly motivated to get it done as it's super cold out these days at 4am and I'm sure the wind chill on the motorcycle will be significantly colder. Right now I'm thinking 2 weeks ought to be about right

unfortunately ships schedule comes first, and will be that way for the next 4 years, but I'll still get in some good fun in 07.......besides, I need to get new dyno numbers and track times!
