however 3M makes different grades for different jobs, white would be better for aluminum IMO

The wristpin location is offset, the indicators let you know which way they want the offset.

No, he wanted them to look clean for the first 500 miles! Or should I say that is about how long it will take before they get caked up again.

I wouldn't expect anything less from someone who spent many hundreds of dollars on a specialty tool kit to do one or two engine jobs in the next couple years and others have done half a dozen jobs with $40 worth of equivalent tools that get the job done.

It looks good though.

Through all the sarcasim though, good work man.

So that scarred crank snout means this engine will soon become a 402, right?

I wish, no chance, that's outside of my budget

I will be pinning the new damper so I don't think it will be a problem, maybe someone can chime in with some insight

I don't think it will be a problem at all after its pinned. I have pinned a couple that look worse than that with no further issues.

Too much carbon build up will raise compression, but it also will create hot spots and causes preingnition...

Looking good

I pinned a 5.3 crank that was way worse than yours with no problems at all.Mine had spun so bad it had lost the pulley.
