So what is more fun: the actual build of this beast or being able to drive it? I have built a few cars (old muscle cars) in my past and actually I enjoyed the building of them just as much as the first test drive.

Congrats BTW!!!

in my younger days 150miles would be no problem
I would just go...and come back to that oil change.
Everytime I come back to the site the title of this thread is changed

I REALLY enjoy the build aspect of it, but I have to admit I'm happy as pigs in **** right now Probably an even draw.

I'm trying bro, so much to do, so little time. I just filled 6 large trash barrels of yard waste and still need to make several trips to the dump, build a shed to house my extra stuff yada yada yada
it never ends

I have to go register the truck first thing in the morning so I can legally drive it again, currently on a non op.

I did manage to fill the gas tank with 20 gallons of fresh super unleaded and 2 cans of Torco octane booster, should be good for about 97-99 octane, somewhere in there

Your motor is awesome! I really like the way it runs, it actually feels smoother than stock, and I can tell it want's more revs

LOL, no spotlight to steal bro.

I chose Brad Penn 30wt Break-In Oil, and plan on using boost to seat the rings, about 200-300miles ought to do it
