You know, that is EXACTLY what I have suggested to those seaking my advice with 4L80-E TransGo installations. The rest of the holes work well at stage 2 but the overdrive feed really can use the extra volume.
If you are really feeling motivated, the next time you drop the trans for whatever reason, pull the front pump. The overdrive planetary and roller clutch assembly is most easiest pulled out at the same time if you hang on to the input shaft. Right there, exposed and easy to access, is the overdrive clutch pack in the aluminum overdrive piston assembly. You can remove the snapring and backing plate and change those clutches without removing the valvebody or even dropping the pan, for that matter. These clutches will be the enormous ones - large as a dinner plate and a quantity of four. The reason I bring this up is that Raybestos now makes a blue-plate special pack for the 4L80/85-E overdrive. Be careful reinstalling the overdrive roller clutch / planetary assembly back over the hub of the front pump - there are sealing rings in there and they are fragile. Also, don't forget the selective washer!

update:

we finished the final details of exhaust today. The revised system is a 3 muffler rear exit system vs. the original 2 muffler side exit.

I'll take some pics tomorrow and post them up for those interested in the revised setup. I'm very pleased! Now that the exhaust is wrapped up.......time to start on the other mods.

Thank you Richard

updated high flow metallic cat info:

MagnaFlow Performance Exhaust METALLIC-CAT catalytic converters.

Ok here's the scoop. We have just wrapped up categorization and part numbering for both emissions compliant and race part offerings.

MAGNAFLOW PERFORMANCE EXHAUST METALLIC-CAT
59920 Series – ULTRA High-Flow Performance Catalyst (Center / Center)
Highest flowing catalyst available. 59929 was tested (1000 cfm range @ 28" of H2O) to flow ~600 CFM. The one piece spun body long neck design and 400 cell density metal composite core make for the best flowing catalyst while providing compact packaging and extreme durability.

MAGNAFLOW PERFORMANCE EXHAUST METALLIC-CAT
59950 Series – Compact High-Flow Performance Catalyst (Center / Center)
High flowing compact packaging catalyst. 59959 was tested (1000 cfm range @ 28" of H2O) to flow ~570 CFM. The one piece spun body short neck design and 400 cell density metal composite core make for excellet flow and extreme durability. The compact series uses all the same features as the ultra high-flow but provides for SMALLEST packaging avialable in high performance cats.

NEW to spun body catalyst market.

If even our compact series cannot accomodate your needs we now offer inlet variations for just about every possible condition you may run into. Why compromise flow by cutting into bends for your mid pipes when you can attain the best flow in your pipes and catalyst?

MAGNAFLOW PERFORMANCE EXHAUST METALLIC-CAT
59990 Series – High-Flow Performance Catalyst (Offset / Same Side Offset)
Variant of the 59950 series with added inlet and out configurations.

MAGNAFLOW PERFORMANCE EXHAUST METALLIC-CAT
59970 Series – High-Flow Performance Catalyst(Center / 30˚Angle)
Variant of the 59950 series with added inlet and out configurations.

MAGNAFLOW PERFORMANCE EXHAUST METALLIC-CAT
59980 Series – High-Flow Performance Catalyst (30˚Angle / 30˚Angle)
Variant of the 59950 series with added inlet and out configurations.

MAGNAFLOW PERFORMANCE EXHAUST METALLIC-CAT
59960 Series – High-Flow Performance Catalyst (Offset / Opposing Offset)
Variant of the 59950 series with added inlet and out configurations.

Here are dimensions and details by model number: METALLIC-CAT

Pricing and availibility are being released to distributors this week.

Which sponsor is Oxidizr affiliated with? He did such a good job or Grippy's truck he might just have to do mine.

I am starting to ditch my flows and get some magnaflows, sorry Grip I am going to copy your orginal plan but with the tips exiting behind the tire.

The "revised" goal was 1st, to conceal the entire exhaust system as much as possible, and 2nd, to tone down the WOT volume 8-10 decibels.

1st Goal:

Before

After:

After:
