all good brother
I seriously need to figure out the pinion angle thing though, LOL, I can picture myself fine tuning things for a few weeks if i don't get it right the first time.

Have the measurements on my pinion angle and trans angle.
Transmission angle: 4.5* (downward slope)
Axle pinion angle (with 2* shim installed): 1.5* (upward slope)
Looks like the rear needs another 2-3* of shim work to achieve an equal but opposite 4.5* positive on the axle pinion angle.
Will have to buy some leaf spring retaining pins that have a longer pin at the bottom.
Does anyone sell .5* shims? Would like to get the axle pinion angle to 4*. This will allow the pinion to get to 4.5* under hard acceleration.
Or should I just go for a 5* shim and set it perfect from a stand still?
Anyone know this?
Looks like shackle drop turned out to be a mess of trouble for my truck.
I have it figured out to what I need, but who sells what I need?

Jim

I did my best, with the help of a few experts, in choosing a well thought out combination/package. Cam specs have changed 100 times, and I've had no less than 3 cams in my possession, all uninstalled.

So in keeping with my goals and engine parameters, the basic spec is as follows.

-Heads, WCCH 035 Stage 2's, 73.5cc, 2.02 1.57 (roughly 9.0-1 CR w/stock Head Gaskets)
-Cam, EDC(Flowtech), 224/236 .600/.590 @ 116LSA (powerband is 2000-6400 rpm on a 346-364ci engine)
-Connecting Rods, Stock w/LPE rod bolts (same as Katech)
-Rocker Arms, Stock
-Lifters, Stock
-Pushrods- Comp Cams 7.4
-Timing Chain- Comp Cams adjustable single roller ( I will be degreeing the Cam)
-Blower, Magnuson MP122HH @ 10lbs of boost

The exhaust system is already installed, SW 1 3/4, 3" collectors, Magnaflow 3" dual out the back.

On the DynoSim Software this combo is making between 750-850fwhp/fwtq, depending on boost levels, 10-14psi range. Peak TQ occurring @ 2000-2500rpm, Peak HP occurring @ 6000rpm (extending to 6500rpm). Obviously that's not RealWorld so I will be sure to post results as the combination is tested in the appropriate sections.

Anyone interested in progress pictures during the install?
I hate you, but good luck with the project.

Looks like you have some fun ahead of you. Tuning alone is going to be pretty fun. You're going to be like a kid at Christmas when you start...

Luckily I don't know how to tune, that will be someone else's fun time!

Are you going with the Evans coolant?I have found that with the Evans coolant/waterpump combo and 90mm throttle body,I can run as much as 29 degrees of timing with no KR at 100degrees ambient temp.I hope that will be helpfull with your tuning.
