had duty yesterday, a few things showed up while I was away:

first I figured I'd take a few pics of the engine pre-luber so you guys can get an idea of how it works:

took a picture of it next to a gallon of coolant to get an idea of its size:

here's a mock-up of the stock valve covers/coil brackets, thoughts? stick with stock or go custom?

I think the stock ones will complement the blingin you've got going on better than custom ones. You were looking at custom ones that were carbon fiber right? If you do go custom see to it that it's polished like the rest of your goodies!

You're good to go as is . . . so go as is!

BTW, thanks for the info on the pre-luber. By injecting the oil at the front oil galley, the oil passes through the filter before being fed upward to the cam journals. It's also the easiest place to get to.

Thanks Steve, the info on the pre-luber was the most interesting to me, thought a few peeps on here might be interested as well

Is the Lokar dipstick a clip (shorten) to fit per GENIII/IV application? ... as not all pan depths are the same from 97-04 (all apps). Been thinking about that piece...
