That's the hair raising part of these wildfires. One hour your dancing, the next your biting your nails and praying that your house isn't going to go up like a roman candle. Then with a little luck and the courageous help of the fire fighters your dancing again.
This has been one of the most inpredictable fire seasons I can ever remember.
I'm praying Grippy's house survives. Tonight should tell the tale.

Hope everyone's coming out ok for you Grippy and Richard! I flew home from Hawaii today and found out my brother's place burned down yesterday in Escondido. Luckily he was evacuated but just shows the price we pay for living in a desert!
