That just leaves room for another mod down the road. You're a mod kind of guy anyway, the vehicle is never really "done".

Yeah, I'm never truly done, that is an accurate statement. I was hoping for a nice "Money" shot though when the aluminum polish and everything was at its best, oh well

I polished my stock valve covers just a little with a brass wire wheel and it cleaned them up pretty good, Im sure with your polishing expertise you could make them look pretty good.

thanks for the compliment, the look of a stock valve cover wasn't what I was wanting, but that's how these things go sometimes

Well a polished stocker wouldnt look too bad until later, me personally I like the sheetmetal covers but they are spendy

Here is my old timing chain cover that I did the same thing to

fro comparison

This was just with a 2" diameter brass wire wheel and probably about 45min worth of work for each cover, with buffer wheel and polishing compound they could have looked alot better.

thanks, I can get a good idea of how they will look from your pics. I think the coil mount plates are what make the whole setup "not look" so good. If you had polished stock valve covers and chrome coil mount plates I think that would tie it all together nicely
