did you have to swap or modify the driveshaft with that 4L65?

FLT put 4l65 internals in the housing of a 4l60 to match the wiring, shifting and mounting in my truck so it was 100% bolt in. they bolted an LS bellhousing to that body as well

Is it throwing codes? How can you get around that? I'm tossing around the idea of an OBS LS swap, but I need to pass the OBDII code check to pass inspection.

yes it has a code right now for an emissions valve its not seeing but the tuner can delete that. when they inspect it they will plug into the new ODBII port which is under the hood and the VIN will match and have no codes so it should pass no problem.

If you can get your hands on a 9.5" 14 bolt you'd have a hard time breaking it. If you get it from a '90's 'heavy half ton' they came with 6 lug axles and it would be a direct bolt it swap.

Thanks, thats the type of axle I used in my offroad truck. I even swapped dana 44 front disc calipers and 12" rotors onto it.

I already bought the truetrac, I'm going to stick to the 8.5" rear for now.
