Not going to worry to much on flex. It is on a dedicated 8 rib, so if it does flex some, I am not going to sweat it. It is super low boost for that particular head unit.. The only other belt will be the ALT.. That is one of the reasons we went big on the head unit, was to get away from running a IC, because it is a tight fit in the engine compartment, once the exhaust is on. We can turn this unit to make 9-12 psi super slow, so alot less heat then a unit smaller in size.. ( boat came factory with a v6 hehehehe...
