you wont be able to just stick in a straight section of pipe, theres too much crap in the way and most exhaust shops cant bend over 3" pipe. what i did with my exhaust is i used 4-5 45* 3.5" mandrel bends to route the exhaust from my y pipe back to the muffler and it worked out really well. I can take some pics for you if youd like, im very happy with how it all turned out and have actually gotten some compliments on it which made me feel pretty giggidy

Did a little mockup of what I may try to get fabbed up for me as far as an extension pipe goes. Still need to take a lot of measurements, but this is what I have pictured in my head.
Still gonna see if I can find an exhaust off a 6.2 truck for a reasonable amount of $, if not I'll shop around till I find a shop that can fabricate what I'm looking for.
