Yeah, I've been meaning to get the truck cleaned up and give the whole set up a good inspection. However, I blew the transmission last week so that got pushed to the side. It was holding up good though, I have noticed a 'jolt' for lack of a better term right after accelerating from a stop. It could have been from the transmission though, which is also what I think was causing the vibration I was getting. I'll know for sure when I get the new trans in.

I do still have the old aluminum ds, it's just sitting in the garage wasting space.

Also, I still don't have the parking brake cable hooked up. I haven't been able to get the right combination of cables to make it work. I'll probly have to come up with something custom.

Please take a measurement from the old shaft. I aqquired an aluminum driveshaft through a recent purchase. Are you gonna have the trans rebuilt or do it your self???

I'll measure the ds when I get home. I'm going with a performabuilt heavy hauler trans.
