No carnage yet. I called the shop owner before going down and he put me off till tomorrow. I drove the truck pretty hard this weekend trying to find a weak link before putting it on the dyno and nothing broke so hopefully it goes smooth tomorrow. Anything above 500rwhp and I'll be happy. I think it is making that and then some.

well I have the turbo smart eboost street 2, but I got lazy and didn't hook it up.
and I've had a ball and screw type turbo smart hooked up wrong for the last year and a half, so I got it hooked up right and i am gonna run that.
I'll just save the electronic boost controller for my next project

Quite the adventure today. Got the truck strapped down finally and it made 350hp.
I sat there and scratched my head knowing something wasn't right. The operator didn't think it was spinning on the rollers or that anything was wrong. This is an eddy current dyno so I told him I didn't think it was loading the truck enough to get the turbo going. Once I would get into the throttle, it would scream through 3rd gear way too fast. On the fourth pull, someone was standing behind my truck and got hit with a fat ball of rubber. One radial was hot but not coming apart. The other one was shredding and throwing rubber everywhere
. No body could figure out what the hell was going on. We got the loading straitened out and it felt good. The truck pulled like it should, the dyno felt smooth, ....
We were about to unstrap the turd when I asked him about the being an AWD dyno. He said, wait, is this a 2wd truck??
So he had the dyno running both the front and rear rollers. That would explain the low numbers and why the tires would spin on the front rear roller...
He changed the settings in the computer and disengaged the front rollers and I made one more pull. It made 578hp and 547ftlbs on 12.1psi. You could tell he felt like an idiot.
I made all the pulls with the truck in street form. Full exhaust, intake filter on, ect. I ran E85 with 16* total timing and lambda 0.78. Looks like a little defect in the hp on the top end. So it was probably a bit lower than 578.
