Well I got one wheel on the truck tonight. It has plenty of clearance from the leaf springs but I don't know how the hell I'm supposed to get a brake caliper on there. I only have 1/4" between the wheel and the rotor..
I can't imagine the S10 caliper being thinner than that.

I also found an exhaust leak between the dp and turbo. I never noticed it because that side of the engine has a bit of valvetrain noise. I can stick my finger down around the v band and feel it blowing out.
I took the v band off and it looks like the DP v band flange is bigger than the turbo outlet....WTF. Was the wrong flange used when making the downpipe? These pics are me lining the top of the flange up to the turbo and taking pics from the side and top

About the rear brakes. I think I'm going to have to convert to rear drums. There is no way in hell a machined S10 caliper will fit. Not sure how some of these guys get them to with the cragar wheels. Or maybe I misunderstood them and they are all drum guys.

I literally can't fit my finger between the wheel and rotor and I have tiny hands, feet, peter ect. So I just don't see those calipers fitting. I think drums would be safer in the end. I'll try and find some locally when I get a 04+ fuel tank.
