Are you setup for return ? Or return less.

 

It will be a return system. -10 feed and -6 return

 

if you would have mounted the bulkhead fitting on the flat portion and not on the vent you would have been ok.

 

Mine was close with a -8 on top of the hat...I beat the hell out of the bottom of the bed with a sledge anyway, just to be sure

Yea I agree. I just wanted the bulkhead as high as possible because I think the barb fittings will sit too low in the bucket and too close to the pumps. I bought this bucket assembly just for R&D for $25. So if its not going to work, no biggie. But I'd like to get a tank and test fit it with a 90* bulkhead.

 

I'll move it down to the bottom and see where that puts me. It will still stick above the evap extrusion like 2"

 

Here is mine. Notice the check valve on the feed. I used a 90* fitting instead of a hose end.

I like your Y fitting! I wish i would have saw that back when i was doing mine.. I like your setup alot better than mine.

 

Who's Y are you referring to? I like how you cut the stock feed tube off. Maybe I will copy you
