if you would have mounted the bulkhead fitting on the flat portion and not on the vent you would have been ok.

Mine was close with a -8 on top of the hat...I beat the hell out of the bottom of the bed with a sledge anyway, just to be sure

Yea I agree. I just wanted the bulkhead as high as possible because I think the barb fittings will sit too low in the bucket and too close to the pumps. I bought this bucket assembly just for R&D for $25. So if its not going to work, no biggie. But I'd like to get a tank and test fit it with a 90* bulkhead.

I'll move it down to the bottom and see where that puts me. It will still stick above the evap extrusion like 2"

I like your Y fitting! I wish i would have saw that back when i was doing mine.. I like your setup alot better than mine.
